Giuseppe Manco - Italian Hairdresser takes the safety of our clients, our staff, and the wider community, very seriously. Our aim is to provide the very best in client experience and gold standard service in every aspect of our business. As part of our commitment to our clients and team, we have put in place best-practice safety policies and standards in response to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, as well as “normal” health and safety measures that are recommended by the industry as occupational standards.
We understand some salons do not do the same, however, we pride ourselves on offering the very best in everything we do, safety is a key part of our high standard of service.
What you can expect from us
Our aim is to provide you with personal service. To help us achieve this goal, please let us know if we can take steps to make your visit to us as comfortable and as safe as possible. Please know you can inform us if you have any special requirements, needs, medical or health issues.
For example, any Allergies, Long Covid symptoms, Anxiety, or Stress issues. Do you require someone to accompany you into the salon who assists you? Assistance dogs get a special treat, so please let us know you are bringing a friend, so we can be prepared with a freshwater bowl and something dog-friendly tasty to make their visit memorable.
We are requesting a non refund booking fee payment of £20 of styling appointment and £75 of technical appointments (colour, highlights, perm, Ritual treatment), £20 of color consultation appointments to confirm your appointment.
Booking fee have to be paid on the day then you are booking your next appointment or not less then 1 month prior your appointment.
The booking fee can be paid through phone, via our booking system or directly in our salon.
We kindly ask that you give us 3 working days notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment.
All booking fees are non-refundable but can be used towards your rescheduled appointment if re-booked 3 working days before the original date.
If your appointment is rescheduled more than 3 times you will be required to pay for your treatment in full to confirm the booking or we may refuse to welcome you in our salon.
Cancellations or reschedules within the 24 hours prior to your appointment will loose the booking fee and you will need to pay a new one before re-booking.
In the event of 24 hours notice not being given, missed appointments or “no shows” you will be charged 100% of the service cost.
Appointment Reminder & Questionnaires
Before your appointment, we will ask you to fill a Health Questionnaire. We will be unable to proceed with your booking if this questionnaire isn’t completed.
This is relevant to your service, as again we may need to may adjustments to product use for you.
Not tech-savvy? No problem, our Receptionist can schedule a call to complete this over the phone, just let us know this is your preference.
We strongly requested to book a consultation if it is first time coloring at Giuseppe Manco Salon or if you wish a restyling on a separate day to when you would like your colour service.
Please not, if you did not book a consultation before your appointment we will charge you for a consultation on the day.
You will require an allergy check tint patch test 48 hours prior to your colour service, this may be placed behind your ear or in the crook of your arm.
We require all colour clients to have a patch test every 6 months –, after any medical changes, this includes vaccinations and medication changes. There are also some instances where we may carry out additional testing to make sure your hair will respond in the desired way to the colour. In some circumstances, we may have to adjust the service to suit your needs, or may not be able to carry out a particular service due to hair health, or the outcome of a test. We will create an alternative service plan for you should this be the case. Your care and safety, and client satisfaction is always of paramount importance at Giuseppe Manco- Italian Hairdresser.
