Customers come from Winchester and beyond for help with colour corrections because we have technical skills and vast experience in correcting hair colour that has gone wrong.

We do not carry out rough dry or wet cuts, we require clients to book a finishing service, such as a haircut or blow dry after their colour, if it is not already included in the treatment.

If you’re new to Giuseppe Manco, then we want to get to know you. That’s why we always invite new clients into our Winchester hair salon for a consultation (£30 prepaid only). If you’re after a cut then this can be on the day of your appointment but if you’re looking for a colour then we’ll book you in with Giuseppe ahead of your required appointment date to discuss your desired style and outcome and, if required, help with some inspiration too. We’ll also do a skin sensitivity patch test.

Existing clients, looking for a colour restyle should also book a consultation on a separate day to when you would like your colour service.

Highlighting is an ideal choice to enhance your natural colour, brightening and lifting your natural base to create lightness and contrast to all hair lengths. Balayage is a popular freehand colouring technique, targeted at but not restricted to our longer haired clients. Painted onto the hair’s surface, it creates seamless blends of varying tonal reflections throughout the lengths of the hair, either in combination with your natural hair colour, or ‘built into’ an all-over coloured base. Results can vary from a natural sun kissed effect to a bold, high fashion dipped ends look. It’s your choice. Commitment level is low, as Balayage does not focus on the roots of the hair.

At Giuseppe Manco Salon, we can combine freehand painting in combination with our precision foiled highlighting technique, meaning there are a number of beautiful Balayage variations.

Airtouch highlighting uses air, versus teasing/backcombing, to create a seamless blend of colour, causing less damage to shorter, finer hairs. You’ll see better results – your highlights will be perfectly blended and natural looking and will grow out with ease.
It’s more comfortable for you and it’s super easy to touch up too, as you are always highlighting the stronger strands of hair.

Shatush is a free hand technique that only highlights hair that would be sun-kissed. Similar to balayage, Shatush is extremely soft and the results subtle. It’s the perfect colour service for those wishing to add dimension to their hair. Quite the showstopper and the perfect opportunity to “gram” whilst in the chair.

Face Frames are a great way of brightening and lifting your natural base to create lightness and contrast around the face. They can be applied in a variety of colours, from bold to natural, using highlights or a single band of colour.

Face Frames blend easily into your natural colour creating a number of styling possibilities with colour playing the leading role. Face Frames can also be incorporated with fusion highlighting, allowing bolder panels of colour to drift seamlessly into the base tone.

Ideal as an introduction to colour, Face Framing instantly illuminates your look, lightening and brightening with a low level of commitment but with a high WOW factor.

It is a natural colour service that tones, purifies, moisturizes, volumizes and offers the best re-pigmentation to faded and brittle hair.100% natural, Henné Philip Martins is a great option to combine hair toning and hair care.

The treatment has been created with dyeing herbs based on Lawsonia Inermis (in nature Intense Copper) and other herbal blends, which allows the creation of a wide range of reflections.

We recommended this as a separate procedure that can be added as a toner or as an addition to highlights or balayage. Please note, if you have a grey hair Henné Philip Martins will give only a reflex on it, as it’s more like a treatment with natural glossing. Ideal for first time colouring.
